11th Annual City of Birmingham Recycles Day

The City of Birmingham Recycles Day Committee and partners will host an event to allow 
citizens torecycletheir Electronic Waste and Yellow Pages.One of two e-wasterecyclingdays, the highlight is the opportunity torecycle TV's for FREE! TV's and computer monitors are often difficult to find recycling outlets for. This is also a mid-point for the AT&T Real Yellow Pagerecyclingcompetition hosted by Keep Birmingham Beautiful Commission. Last year, nearly 30,000 yellow pages were diverted from local landfills through a similar effort. Partners include the Keep Birmingham Beautiful Commission, AT&T Real Yellow Pages, Alabama Environmental Council, Birmingham Recycling & Recovery, ACIPCO, UPS, Alabama Power Company, and others.
