"Birmingham Charter" Will Be A Prototype For Building Greener Cities
Planning experts from all around the nation and world met in Birmingham, AL (September 25-27, 2009) to develop a new model for building greener cities-cities that are more efficient and cleaner areas for people to live, work, travel and play.
Approximately 20 professionals attended the summit to make plans for the new city prototype, which will be called the "Birmingham Charter."
The group hopes to expand, ultimately attaining a core group of at least 150 professionals to develop the charter.
